David P. Pogrel

David Pogrel has exclusively represented workers in employment litigation and counseling since his graduation from UC Berkeley School of Law in 1999. At Hinton Alfert Sumner & Kaufmann, Mr. Pogrel represents workers in class action and individual employment cases, with particular emphasis on wage and hour (including overtime, minimum wage, expense reimbursement), discrimination, retaliation and whistle-blower law. He has served as class counsel in dozens of wage and hour class and collective actions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pogrel was a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society Employment Law Center where he represented low-wage workers with wage and hour claims and unemployment insurance appeals.
