- Are you paid for all hours worked?
- Are you paid 1.5 times your hourly rate for all hours worked over 8/day & 40/week?
- Is all compensation (commission, bonus, piece rate) included in calculating your overtime rate?
- Are you subject to charge backs or lost commissions after you complete a sale?
- Are you reimbursed for all necessary business expenses (e.g., mileage, tools, client gifts)?
Meal Periods & Breaks:
- If you work full time, are you afforded meal & rest periods?
- For your meal period, are you relieved of all duties for 30 minutes & free to leave work site?
Vacation & Vacation Pay:
- Have you received all your earned vacation pay?
- Does your accrued vacation carry over from year to year?
Termination of Employment:
- Upon leaving your employment, were you paid for unused vacation?
- Upon leaving your employment, were you paid all wages (including accrued vacation, bonus, commission)?
